ROXY Electrochemistry/MS
With the introduction of the ROXY™ line of products for on-line Electrochemistry (EC)/MS, Antec is bringing Electrochemistry back to the attention of the chemist. Using electrochemistry upfront MS offers has proven to result in time and cost savings when studying oxidative stress, predicting drug/xenobiotic metabolism and risk assessment of drug-protein binding. The ROXY EC System with Reactor cell is capable of mimicking natures redox reactions but in a much shorter time span compared to traditional experiments.

Markets and applications of Antec Leyden
Antec has developed analyzers for neurotransmitters in microdialysates and brain homogenates. These systems for Neuroscience are optimized for analysis of small sample volumes and picomolar detection limits. Customised injection programs allow small injection volumes without excessive sample consumption. Methods for simultaneous analysis by two or three different methods using a multi-loop injection valve have been developed to improve efficiency and saving rodents. Online microdialysis analyzers are available for improved time resolution, an increase in sample throughput or for multi component analysis.
Antec analyzer are applied in the field of Pharmaceutical & Biotech. Quality control is crucial in pharmaceutical manufacturing of bulk product and formulations. For a limited number of drugs the European and United States Pharmacopeia monographs prescribe the use of HPLC with electrochemical detection.
